"Tucked away in the northern frontier of Kashmir, Keran Valley is a breathtaking Himalayan retreat in Kupwara district, set along the Line of Control and peacefully situated on the banks of the crystal-clear Kishanganga River. At ~1,500 meters above sea level, Keran offers fresh mountain air, dramatic landscapes, and a rare opportunity to experience authentic rural Kashmiri life. Unlike crowded tourist destinations, Keran remains serene, uncommercialized, and deeply connected to nature and tradition. As Ibn Battuta said, 'Traveling , it leaves you speechless, then turns you into a storyteller.'"
